Openings for the 2018-2019 School year:

Full Time Secondary Math: Courses cover the continuum of mathematics from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus. The successful canidate will demonstrate strong mathematical  knowledge, a broad repetoire of best instructional practices, an a proven track record in proficiencey-based education and team collaboration. Interviews will begin the week of March 12, 2018 and will continue until the ideal candidate is found. Full Time K5 Teacher:  Position requires the planning, organization, and implementation of the appropriate instructional program to address the learning needs of the students.  Essential Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. Develop lesson plans. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Prepare classroom for class activities.  Identify and utilize different instructional resources and methods to support the learning needs of students at varying levels of progress. Observe and evaluate student performance and development. Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, and assignments as appropriate. Provide appropriate feedback on student work. Monitor and encourage individual student progress. Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development. Manage student behavior and maintain discipline by establishing classroom rules and procedures, and by enforcing classroom rules, school rules and procedures. Participate in school meetings and professional development activities as appropriate. Stay current with most recent developments in appropriate subject area as initiated by the school. Foster and maintain effective communication with parents and/or guardians. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required) Bachelor's Degree or Higher from an accredited college or university. Athletic Director: 

Richard Winn Academy is looking for a quality-oriented candidate for the position of Athletic Director. This administrative level is a full-time position, and reports directly to the Head of School. The Athletic Director provides vision, direction, and supervision for the Athletic Department’s staff and coaches, student life, operations, facilities, budgets, policies, and initiatives. This position will be responsible for promoting an environment that prioritizes sportsmanship, Christ-like attitudes and behaviors, civility, and is a visible role model for ethics and integrity; additionally, this position will strive to build key relationships and take an active role in the local community.


· Bachelor's degree required; experience in athletics administration                    with demonstrated knowledge and application of best practices in higher education

· Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

· Coaching background and experience preferred.

· Prior experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Planet High School

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents

· Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints

· Ability to work without supervision and communicate professionally through verbal and written means; work well with men and women from diverse backgrounds and work closely and professionally as a team
